Paper-I (Classes I-V): Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed. Paper-II (Classes VI-VIII): Graduation with at least 50% marks + B.Ed or 4-year B.El.Ed.
150 MCQs / 150 Marks / 2.5 Hours (No Negative Marking). Paper-I: Child Development & Pedagogy (30), Language I (30), Language II (30), Mathematics (30), Environmental Studies (30). Paper-II: CDP (30), Language I (30), Language II (30), Mathematics & Science (60) OR Social Studies / Social Science (60).
Child Development (concept of inclusive education, learning and pedagogy), Language Comprehension & Pedagogy of Language Development, Content and Pedagogical Issues of Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, and EVS.
1. Thoroughly read NCERT EVS and Social Science textbooks for classes 3 to 8. 2. Master Piaget, Vygotsky, and Kohlberg theories of child development. 3. Solve past 10 years CTET question papers.
The validity period of the CTET qualifying certificate for appointment is for a Lifetime for all categories.
Candidates scoring 60% (90 out of 150) or more in the TET exam are considered as TET pass.
