Shortlisting via GATE 2025 Scores: Candidates are shortlisted for document verification based on their normalized marks obtained in the relevant GATE 2025 paper.

Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates (typically at a ratio of 1:5 or more per category/discipline) are called to verify original academic, category, and GATE scorecards.

Medical Examination: Pre-employment medical fitness evaluation as per DVC corporate standards.

Final Merit List: Compiled strictly on the basis of GATE 2025 scores. Ties are resolved by prioritizing older candidates based on Date of Birth.

Educational Qualifications & GATE 2025 Requirements

• Essential Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E. / B.Tech) from a recognized AICTE-approved University / Institution with minimum 65% aggregate marks for General / OBC-NCL / EWS candidates, and 60% marks for SC / ST / PwBD candidates.

• Mandatory GATE Paper Requirement: Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the corresponding GATE 2025 paper:

  • Mechanical: GATE Paper Code ME

  • Electrical: GATE Paper Code EE

  • Civil: GATE Paper Code CE

  • Control & Instrumentation: GATE Paper Code IN (Instrumentation Engineering)

  • Mining: GATE Paper Code MN(Note: GATE 2024 or earlier scores are strictly not valid).

Service Bond & Overview

Service Agreement Bond

• Selected candidates must execute a service bond to successfully complete 1 year of probation plus serve DVC for an additional 3 years (4 years total).

• Bond Amount: ₹5,000,000 for General / OBC-NCL / EWS; ₹2,50,000 for SC / ST / PwBD candidates (plus applicable interest).
