Selection Process
Shortlisting via GATE 2025 Score: Candidates are shortlisted based on their valid GATE 2025 normalized marks.
Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview carrying 20 marks.
Final Merit List Calculation: Merit is compiled giving weightage to the GATE 2025 score (80 marks) and the Personal Interview (20 marks).
Document Verification & Medical Examination: Final health check-up and credential validation.

Educational Qualifications
Essential Qualification: Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology (B.E. / B.Tech) in the respective branch from a recognized University or Institution.
Minimum Marks Requirement: Minimum 60% aggregate marks for Unreserved (UR), EWS, and OBC (NCL) candidates; 50% aggregate marks for SC / ST candidates.
GATE Requirement: Must have a valid GATE 2025 score in the corresponding discipline paper.
Degree Completion Cut-off: Must have completed and possessed the final degree qualification by 1 November 2026.

Exam Pattern & Overview
- Note: There is no separate written exam conducted by NLCIL; selections are based on GATE 2025 scores coupled with a Personal Interview.
- Selected candidates are required to execute a service agreement bond of ₹3,00,000 to serve the corporation for a minimum period of 3 years post-training.
